About me:

I'm Carl. Hello! I live smack bang in the middle of the UK. I try to spend most of my time performing in the tribute band profession (more on that in a minute), although at the moment (thanks to the recession) I've had to resort to doing a "real" job for a living!! The rest of the time, I can usually be found watching TV, listening to music, or doing "arty stuff"! I Love Science Fiction & Fantasy on TV & at the flicks. My list of favourites is endless but I do have a special place for LOST, BSG, HEROES, B5, SG, TREK & WARS, Spielberg, Kubrick, etc, etc, etc. I also love FAMILY GUY. Like my viewing, my listening tastes are endless. Big fan of Bowie, Dylan, Floyd, The Who, Lennon, Bob Marley, Annie Lennox, Radiohead, Arcade Fire... the list goes on & on. I read, write & paint the rest of the time. My musical/working life for the last 10 years has been taken up by WHO'S RENOWN, one of the UK's most established tribute bands to THE WHO (Of which I am lead singer & "Daltrey" impersonator). I love doing it & hope it never comes to an end! As some may know, I spent several months (earlier this year) putting together a tribute band to Arcade Fire. Due to unforseen circumstances, the band came to an end, before it really began; but the experience was great while it lasted. I hope one day, I get a chance to revisit the venture (before I get too old & grey!!).
