About me:
The Carlisle Hub is a forum for artists in Cumbria that encourages artists to meet, discuss and be involved in a broad range of projects. It is an opportunity for artists to form collaborations or expand their skills as artists, promoters, curators and sellers of artwork.
It is the aim of the Hub to engage the public with contemporary artworks. This may take the form of exhibitions, festivals, art auctions or working directly with the public and businesses in the form of workshops, artists residencies and lectures.
Although there is a committee, it is there as an administrative measure with the activities of the Hub being guided by artists.
The Carlisle Artists Hub is open to all artists in all disciplines and meets monthly on the 2nd wednesday of the month at the Source Cafe on Nelson Street in Carlisle. All are welcome ...
