On December 28th, 2007, Carl Leeds walked into a NYC recording studio to begin work on his long awaited album. The end result of this session is his composition "Summer Rain" thought by many who have heard it to be the most powerful song ever written regarding the 9/11 tragedy. For Carl's many fans, who have been clamoring for a long time for some new music, your patience has been rewarded. We are proud to present the world premier performance of "Summer Rain" the first track completed for his upcoming album. As the sessions progress Carl will be joined in the studio by Uber-guitarist Steve Bondy, long time drummer/pal Mike Mercury, keyboardist George Donner, blues harpist extraordinaire Speedo Jones, & other special friends. Hey! Hey! Hey! Carl!! I returned the day-before from the BeatlesFest in NJ. I met and spoke with George Harrison's 1st wife Pattie Boyd. She was also married to Eric Clapton. Songs like "Layla" and "You look wonderful tonite"... Eric wrote for her. George wrote "Something" for her. HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
