An excerpt of the site-specific performance entitled in-between, presented at Festival Sonic Scope 2008, Lisbon(5th Jul 08). Thanks to Nuno Moita.
Apparatus:
-three 1W loudspeakers sounding a simple set of sine waves, picked up by microphone, sent to laptop, processed, and back to loudspeakers — electroacoustic feedback;
-a camcorder streaming directly to video projector, picked up again by camcorder — video feedback;
-a distance sensor communicating physical presence to sound modulation.
-Max/Msp processing
This is an idiosyncratic homage to R. R., born Milton Ernst.

A video work consisting of two separate sequences of footage running side by side.
The location is the same (Av. Santo Condestável, Lisbon), though the occasion is distinct.
Space and movement are parallel between both sequences, whereas context is contrasting.
The context's discrepancy, however, is not related to place, but to time.
It was exhibited at Festival Mascavado, Lisbon(9th Feb 08).
