A young talent, born in the 80..s, developed his passion for electronic ever since he was a teenager. He couldn’t go for one week without going out to clubs to listen to he’s favourite artists play live such as Dave Clarke, Derrick May and Richie Hawtin.
He started in the late 90..s and it only took a few years for him to start performing in some of Madrid’s clubs. After that he performed around the country, branching from the underground Raves to the best clubs.
In 2002 he began his studies as an Audio Engineer at Sae Institute. In 2003 he won The National DJ Tournament organized by some popular Radio stations in Spain. As a prize, he found himself performing at the Ministry of Sound and Pacha in London.
After being in London and its underground scene for only one week, he got so influenced by its movement that he decided to stay a bit longer, performing at several different parties during this time.
In 2006 he came back to Madrid where he realised that there was no better way to
make a name for him than by producing electronic music.
After 2 years spent investigating and finding club sounds, he released his first EP.
This again lead to the Realization that he must create an Electronic Label called “Roda Records” that will prove to be a solid force in the music scene.

Roda Records is the label founded and A&R-ed by Carl Roda, deejay, producer & promoter.
Created in 2008 Roda Records is looking to establish itself as one of the most upfront imprints in electronic music today. A wide variety of single releases by some of the freshest producers in the scene is awaiting to be launched, and will prove that Roda Records will be a solid force in the scene.
Up and coming and more established artists such as Dario Nuñez, David Vio, Kolor, Sami Wentz, Maleza, and many more will give their best to the Roda Records roster.
Roda Records ventured into setting up its own events, starting from Madrid. Meant as a showcase of the label and a platform for the artists on the roster, the parties have moreover established the flavour and vibe of its releases.
Carl Roda will put in all his effort and illusion to make this project real.
