Movies
I own the biggest DVD collection of most of the people I know. I am such a movie buff, I love going to the movies, talking about movies, all of it! My house is like Blockbuster, you name it we've got it! Even Howard the Duck! Come on now, you didn't see that one coming!
Television
I don't follow on everything. My life hasn't been the same since Sex and the City went off the air. I feel a lot of us died that day. I do watch a little American idol, OH and "The hiils." I know it's lame but I love reality TV, when it comes to skinny, whinny girls complaining about wearing mini-skirts, and having too much money. GOD BLESS AMERICA! And p.s. AMERICAN IDOL.....
Books
DOES VOGUE COUNT? IT'S PRETTY LONG.....
Heroes
I have so many my wonderful mentors Molly and Shawn Lawton, my incredible brother Robb who never siezes to amaze me or put a smile on my face, my best friend Angie, and my amazing strength, Sarah. PLEASE don't feel left out if your not on this list....It's a short paragraph!! Mainly, my mother. As corny as it sounds if I do anything right it would be to follow in her footsteps and strive to be the person that she is. My idea of hero is someone who commits a selfless act once a day, those are the people I want to be like. Those are also the kind of people I tend to surround myself with so my "hero's" are all of you. With your love support and encouragement. To the ones who never stopped believing in me and still think I could touch the sky! Your are my inspiration.....(damn this sounds like the "thank you's on a album sleeve) hahahaha!!! And this paragraph would not complete with out mentioning my absolute most inspiring hero....BOB DYLAN!
About me: I'm a sassy Michigan native working it out in the big apple for almost 5 years now. After doing "Hairspray" on both tour and on Broadway in NYC for over 2 years, I took a break and went home to Michigan. I spent a year relaxing with friends and family which was wonderful! I then went to LA to begin recording my album "Baggage" which I co-wrote with one of my oldest and most talented friends, stay tuned on that, she's a work in progress. In the fall of 2006 I did the world premiere of "Asphalt Beach" written by the wonderful Andrew Lippa. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to moving on with the project in the future. I most currently finished a show at the New York Fringe Festival this summer doing "Bye Bye Big Guy."
I am extactic to announce that we have officially opened Cry Baby at the Marriott Marquis!!!! For ticket purchasing go to www.crybabyonbroadway.com!
I live for my friends and my family and would go to the end of the earth for anyone I love. Honestly I can't complain, well let me say I shouldn't complain. I spend most of my time taking in life changing moments, creating memories and laughing whenever possible.
My pet peeves are: people who clap on 1 and 3, girls who intentionally disrespect out of insecurity and rap music.....my Favorite things are Christmas, thunderstorms, a smile from a cute guy and those moments where you make yourself proud!
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THIS NEW ALBUM I AM ON WRITTEN AND PRODUCED BY THE AMAZING SCOTT ALAN!!!!
Here is a link to a great review that came out about Scott Alans "Dreaming wide awake"

Hey Carly! I was watching Hairspray the movie tonight, and was thinking of you and how much I love having you in NY! I hope that whatever you're working on is making you happy. You never answer my notes, so I don't know :) Keep smiling!
Carly, I'm such a loser. I just found out today that Crybaby closed June 22nd. I am so crushed and depressed. I had made plans to go see the show in November on a trip I'm making to N.Y., and now this. I hate myself for missing it. I so wanted to meet you, and especially see u play Pepper. My big loss. Hopefully the show will tour and you go on the road to reprise Pepper? I need to get over this. I guess go out tonight and get drunk. Take care C, Love, Joey
