Hello there! As you may have guessed by now, my name is Carly Spade. What you are looking at here is page outlining the various forms of work that I enjoy doing.
My first passion has and always will be acting. Never a more thrilling experience then getting to pretend like you're someone else while being recorded forever...on celluloid, I've been doing the acting thing for about 7 years now with various short films on my belt, and recently moved from Chicago the Pensacola, FL and have since then taken the oppurtunity to get some experience in theater within the past year.
For the past 2 years or so I have been trying my hand at the modeling world as well. I figure its like acting only in still frame, and I highly enjoy donning a different persona each and every time. I'd like to do print work on the side someday, if at all possible.
I am a huge fan of comic books and at Wizard World Chicago 2005 I met Beth Sotelo, a colorist for Aspen comics and she was a huge inspiration for me. She was the first gal I have met that is involved in the comic industry, and so I made it a plan. I wanted to become a colorist, and I am well on my way, I've colored for various indie companies doing mostly pinup work. Want something colored digitally? Definitely give me a hollah ;-)
Right now I am enjoying what life has to offer and soaking up the sun in my new home Florida. Sorry boys...but I am happily taken by a wonderful, sexy guy named "Zeus" AKA Jesus had to clarify that may have been taken a different way, lol. He's made this journey all the more interesting and I am greatful to have him along for the ride.
