The band is an 8 time Bands of America National Finalist and was named as a Grand National Class Champion in 2001. The band has won a regional championship in San Antonio, Indianapolis, Louisville, Oxford, and Toledo. The Carmel Marching Band was the 2005 Grand National Champion with its second consecutive year winning Best General Effect. They peformed in the London New Years parade in 2005 as well. The Band has been in its 6th year in a row placing in the top 5 at Grand National Finals.2006: St. Louis Super Regional Champions. Atlanta Super Regional AAA Champions, Grand National Preliminary Champions.2005: Oxford/Indianapolis Regional champions. BOA Grand National Champions with second highest score in Grand National history.2004: 3rd place National Finals with best GE.2003: Indy Regional Champions, 5th place at state finals, 3rd place Grand National Finals.2002: ISSMA State Champions. 4th place at grand national finals.2001: BOA Grand National class champions with best Music and GE. Best GE at Finals with a 2nd place finish. ISSMA State Champions. Hey! I'm from the Brunswick High School Marching Band in Brunswick, OH. I really liked your show this year (I'm sure you hear that a lot). I've been a fan of you guys since my freshman year in 2005 when you were Grand Champions. Your shows are always quite exciting and the sound you produce is amazing. We were about 4 points away from semi's but we scored 8 points higher than last year. Anyway, I cant wait to see your show next year (which will be my last year). Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello. I'm Eric from the Collinsville High School marching band from Collinsville, IL. I just wanted to say that I was at Grand Nationals this past weekend. We did not make Semi's but We moved up 25 Places from Last year. Hopefully Next year being our 3rd year attending we'll be competing against you in Semi's. Ofcourse we do not stand a Chance against you guys. ALong with that... your show this year was FANTASTIC! I loved it. I walked out of those stands during Semi's in complete awe. An amazing show. Congratulations on Atlanta! We wish we could have seen you guys perform, but there's still nats to be able to see yall. Congrats again, and we'll see ya in a few weeks :)
Forgot to mention that after seing your sportsmanship in the dome i felt it an honor to compete with a band that has as much class as yours does!!! Once again Congratulations and be ready for some more healthy competition cause were coming back stronger than ever next year ;-) !!! GOOD LUCK WITH BOA!!!!
