About me:
I am a disturbed yet very happy story teller, in numerous mediums of the written word (plays, fiction, and non-fiction). I am also a photographer at times and a human rights activist. Some of my writing can be found by just googling my name, Carmelo Valone. I have also been a tattooed model featured in Fine Art Photography shows in Boston, Los Angeles & San Francisco and beyond. I am an ex-singer of an avant-garde/punk group the 90s. I have also won a recent screenwriting competition, and I have even acted in tv/film/theater...but who hasn't in La? Google me if you really feel like it. I always have something to say in my blog. And no, I don't look like a writer....I look more like the guy you hired to beat up the bullies bothering you in high school....and chances are I was that guy. Or I was also part of that misfit loner/freak that you always wanted to talk to in High School but you never had to balls to do so.

Marisol and Gai were on their knees, hands cupped over their ears with tears running down their faces. It was difficult to keep my eyes open, but they revealed something terrifying. The silhouettes on the horizon were moving faster, much faster. They were sprinting towards us with frightening speed. I ran to Marisol and Gai and grabbed them both by the arm—pulling them in the direction of the truck—but Marisol resisted.
I threw a pointed index finger towards the growing horde running towards us and mouthed inaudible words. Finally Marisol saw the figures coming towards us and started running back towards the truck. Rusty was firing shots into sprinting creatures on the other side of the highway before looking back towards us. Looking over my shoulder revealed the shadows were no more than half a minute behind us. The monsters no longer moaned: they screamed.
