MID-ATLANTIC REGION OF THE UNITED STATES - WHERE I LIVE
TRAVELERS’TALES
Do you ever wonder about the astronauts…about their experiences in space?! Not just the physical aspect of weightlessness and adaptation to a strange, new environment, but the mental…spiritual aspect. How does it feel to be separated from the home planet? To see it from the other side…as a unified Whole, with no borders or boundaries. To see that everything is interconnected and interrelated. When you incorporate this new experience into your awareness, how does it change your perspective on humanity, on life…on everything?!
..
For me personally, reading about the astronauts’ experiences answered a lot of questions that I have had…at the same time, it made me wonder. What is humanity’s purpose? Who are we and what are we a part of? We all live together on this beautiful blue sphere, traveling through space. Is it possible that all of the boundaries, all of the differences we fight about exist only…IN OUR MINDS?!
Here’s what the travelers have to say. Let’s listen to them, let’s learn from them for they have been to places most of us can only imagine; they have seen the BIG PICTURE:
“And that whole process of what it is you identify with begins to shift. When you go around the Earth in an hour and a half, you begin to recognize that your identity is with that whole thing! That makes a change. You look down there and you can’t imagine how many borders you cross, again and again and again…and you don’t even see them! Hundreds of people in the Middle East killing each other over some imaginary line that you’re not even aware of and that you can’t even see.
From where you see it, the planet is a whole, and it’s so beautiful! You wish you could take one in each hand, one from each side in the various conflicts, and say: Look! Look at it from this perspective! Look at that! WHAT’S IMPORTANT?”
(Astronaut RUSSEL SCHWEICKART, Apollo 8)
***"When you see the Earth like this, and the cosmos like this, and ten times more stars, ten times as bright because of no intervening atmosphere, in full 180-degree view, it's magnificent, it's overwhelming! What happened was a sudden recognition of Heart...it made me realize that the answers to the ancient questions, Who are we? How did we get here? Where are we going?...within science were certainly incomplete and perhaps flawed. This feeling of unity and connectedness was an ecstatic, blissful experience. When I came back, I knew my life had changed. I knew that I had to go find out what was this experience I had had."
(Astronaut EDGAR MITCHELL, Appolo 14)
"Wherever you aimed the Hubble Telescope, you had an average of another THOUSAND galaxies...which is a HUNDRED TRILLION STARS!"
(Astronaut STORY MUSGRAVE...Story flew STS-61, SS Endeavour, the first Hubble servicing and repair mission).

What do you see when you look to the skie, Stars, Space, What catches your eye , Tell me please in the cold of the night where does love hide , Are you drawn to this place without knowing why? Does it speak to you and touch you inside , Where is this place , Where whispers reside

SU MAESTRO LE HABIA PEDIDO QUE REALIZASE UN EJERCICIO QUE LE AYUDARÍA A UNIRSE A LAS VIBRACIONES ÚNICAS DEL CORAZÓN DEL UNIVERSO.
LE HABÍA DICHO: EN ESTAS FECHAS A LAS PERSONAS CON LAS QUE TE RELACIONAS APROVECHA UN INSTANTE PARA MIRARLES A LOS OJOS PROFUNDIZANDO EN SU INTERIOR, OLVIDATE DE LAS VESTIDURAS QUE ARROPAN EN ESE MOMENTO SU ALMA Y BUSCA SU “SER.” LUEGO ABRAZALES, QUE HAYA CONTACTO Y DESEALES FELICIDAD.
DEJA GRABADA ESA IMAGEN EN TU MEMORIA Y MAS TARDE EN SOLEDAD, RELAJADO Y EN EL SILIENCIO DE LA MEDITACIÓN UNETE A ESE RECUERDO.
COMPRENDERAS QUE HABITA LA MISMA ESENCIA EN ELLOS QUE EN TI, EL RESTO DE LO QUE NOS RODEA A CADA UNO SON APRENDIZAJES, EXPERIENCIAS QUE DETERMINAN LAS DIFERENTES PERSONALIDADES.
CADA HOMBRE Y MUJER, TODOS REFLEJAN EN ESOS OJOS QUE VES LA BUSQUEDA DE SENTIMIENTOS QUE LES LLEVEN A LA PAZ INTERIOR, POR ESO PIDEN QUE ESCUCHEN SUS PALABRAS, QUE SE LES VALORE SU VIDA, PODER ACARICIAR Y QUE ACARICIEN SU ESPÍRITU, SENTIR EL CALOR DEL AMOR EN SU PIEL, ENCONTRAR AMISTAD, ALMAS COMPLEMENTARIAS O GEMELAS.
EN LA PROFUNDIDAD DE ESOS OJOS QUE VES HAY SUEÑOS COMUNES DE, ESPERANZAS, DE CAMINOS QUE RECORRER, DE METAS QUE ALCANZAR. HAY MIEDOS PERO TAMBIEN VALOR, HAY DESEO PERO TAMBIEN AMOR.
Forever I will keep you, The corner of my eye Aire is thin, My breath weak The summit is in sight, closing my eyes I wonder...Why! How our pathes did meet, and then I hear your whispers although we never speak, As winters dream streaks down my cheek I breathe you deep and cold, Forever I will keep you, The corner of my eye.

“It's time to put the past mistakes of this year behind us and move on to better things. Let your light shine through this 2010 in Love and Gratitude.”
May peace fill all the empty spaces around you and in you! May contentment answer all your wishes! May comfort be yours, warm and soft like a sigh. And may the coming year show you that every day is really a first day, a new year.
Let abundance be your constant companion, so that you have much to share. May mirth be near you always, like a lamp shining brightly on the many paths you travel.
A few days ago, I, a Canadian, was asked by my friend Candace, an American, what I thought of President Obama. My answer was, "He is infinitely better than Bush, but likely not good enough to save the world." This had led to her new question: "Why does saving the world fall on America's shoulders?" And here is my long standing answer:
1. America has always prided itself to be "the most powerful nation in the world", so use this power for the common good. Follow America's own saying, "With the power comes the responsibility."
2. By volume America and China are the top polluters and GHG emitters in the world; USA & China, at least clean up your own acts!
3. On a per-capita basis, Americans, along with Canadians, are the most rampant consumers of Earth's finite and dwindling resources today, while the average Chinese consumes less than 10% of what an average America/Canadian does; Americans and Canadians, about time to voluntarily cut back!...
