I've been working with Saltwater and my latest project is The Copy Cats. I got pic of us somewhere... I'm also working on my solo project which has yet to be named...
There has been some confusion, but just to let everybody know, it's your one and only, Miss Lamont making, playing and breaking every noisy-ass guitar sound you hear. I wanted to showcase, everything from the riffin' to the rippin' solos to the acoustic guitars with my chick voice.
I do want to thank my friends for the extra guitar and J.Weinger for the bass and chick harmony.
Influences
From Sheryl Crow to Joan Jett and No Doubt, The Clash, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols to New Religion and Green Day, Angus Young to Dimebag Daryl or Zack Wylde, Venom to Metallica, Slayer and Bullet for my Valentine... I like it straight up, sometimes raw, sometimes well done, but no substitutes...... There are so many, I'd be on here for hours... I can't forget bands like Led Zeppelin, Heart (I play a mean intro to Crazy On You), Children Of Bodom Opeth, Judas Priest, KISS, Nine Inch Nails...I'll keep adding....................
I currently have over 30 students and just want to pass on the passion for music, especially on the guitar. Some of my kids kick serious ass... No Joke!!!
What Makes You So Lucky ..
DOCTOR...was such a fun indie rock band for me. Alex (drums) , Rob (bass, Our Lady Peace) from Dearly Beloved and Danny (vocals, Canada's renowned The Watchmen). I want to thank my cousin Joanne for getting this on her digital camera.
Sounds Like
Even though I come from a school of metal...I believe if I write a song and it's gotta be a certain way, then that's the way it is. I don't think, ' can this be played on the radio?' or ' this isn't metal!'... If it's song that can be best expressed as a sappy ballad so be it...If the song is suppose to slam you like an 18-wheeler, then it should feel that way. If you can imagine beat all the homies can break to, then that's cool too. I will write songs in a certain direction at times so things don't sound so sporatic... If you knew me well enough, you'd know exactly when, where, why, what and how with my original songs.
Enjoy the different styles and textures of songs I've written and played (except for God) with the different projects I've been in.
Here's abit of a Thin Lizzy Tribute I did with a bunch of friends in a band called Crunchberry.
This will throw you for a loop!!!

Carmen, You are more then welcome and Happy 31st...little bit of shameless self promo, if you don’t mind ;) - these here been published over the past year or so in Norway, Uruguay ... and Italy (!) - enjoy!
Not all, actually. I frequently have to get after one of my bandmates for leaving it on through the commercials, I swear I can feel the intelligence draining out of me during ads. (no smartass remarks necessary!) Don't worry, I'll teach you how to watch tv properly sometime, because soon my brand new book 'The Artful Dodging of Commercials' will be out! heheh. Still, I'm in a bit of a conundrum in regards to the marketing. Do you think a two hour infomercial be too contradictory? ; )
Yeah, I managed to avoid using the gas station as a last minute gift emporium. The only thing I needed to buy on the 24th was 2 cards to put money in and I did that relatively early in the day. Malls were not too bad actually.
MISS LAMONT I HOPE YOU HAVE A FABULOUS CHRISTMAS AND A DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTINGLY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR FAN DOWN SOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DM ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!
On the other hand, watching tv with you sounds very.......annoying! heheh. I'd grab that remote out of your hand out of frustration after a commercial and a half and force you to watch something....or anything else for the duration of the ads.
If I couldn't find anything else tolerable on at that time, I'd actually turn it off or at least mute it until the show comes back. I like the rest of your plan though...and might copy it myself over the holidays (don't worry, I'll make sure socan gets you the royalties).
Yeah, Kitchener went well! Already got invited back (they must be gluttons for punishment), we're just figuring out if our work schedules will allow for it.
Finished x-mas shopping yet? Got around half done today...running out of time. I'm going to make a petition to delay Xmas 24 hours, you in? hehe.
