   About Carnal Circus
In the Fall Of 2003, some stagehands from Dallas decided to form a “sign of the times” rock band. Consequently, Carnal Circus was conceived. Original members Paul Kulcsar (guitar/vocals), Robin Kennon (Drums) and Robert Cortinas (bass/vocals) were already seasoned veterans of the Dallas music scene. Each were involved in various other projects in the past before forming Carnal Circus which ranged from Rock, Jazz, Psychedelic, Experimental and even Metal to touch on only a few.

Each member possesses a unique style that’s integral to the formation of the resulting hybrid sound. One can sense a 60’s or 70’s garage feel overlapping a modern, angst- laden, rough riff machine. This bravura display of musical insurgency is quickly becoming known as PUNK-N-ROLL and has propelled Carnal Circus to respectable rankings.

Audiences may wonder about the name “Carnal Circus”
Can one expect the obvious with a moniker suggesting an orgy?

“Life is a circus” explains bassist Robert Cortinas, and we are all getting screwed! Whether it’s politically, financially, socially, religiously, or psychologically…..we are all in this together.” With a philosophy like this at hand, topics are in mass abundance for this band to exploit.

Carnal Circus released a five song EP in 2005 that was recorded with the assistance of rock legend Manny Charlton (formally of Nazareth). Carnal Circus started distributing the EP at their shows and have received tremendous feedback from listeners as well as a rapidly growing mailing list of fans eagerly awaiting a full length release.
