Eletricat's Brazillian Club CARNAVAL NIGHT - www.carnavalnight.com - is Scotland's biggest authentic Brazilian Club since it started in Jan 2000. The Night is hosted by Eletricat, a Brazillian Dancer & DJ based in Glasgow who has been teaching dance, performing with bands and Djs, choreographing bands and her own dance group, Djing and organising Brazillian events and club nights since 1997. A flurry of colour as described by the Metro Newspaper. Expect the full excitment, carnival extravaganza & energy from Brazil in a friendly atmosphere: Dancers, Capoeira, live music, Brazillian DJ Eletricat + guest performers, percussionists, videos of Brazil, Caipirinha & drink promos! Carnaval Night has been featured at The Metro & BBC Radio amongst others and filmed by BBC TV London May 2007! Carnaval Night Club has had various guests: Flamenco Dancers, breakdancers, Salsa dancers from Cuba, various Samba Bands & Capoeira Groups including guests coming all the way from Brazil and Europe! Caribbean and Bhangra DJs, Moulin Rouge Dancers and various guest musicians! Carnaval Night has organised special events that has raised a total of £1000 to street children in Brazil.
