Scott Carnder and Rick Lisak are Cincinnati musicians who've played together for 8 years. They perform in the Greater Cincinnati area on a weekly basis, playing clubs, restaurants, city events, private parties, and senior centers. Rick is a well-respected fixture on the Cincy music scene, as a guitarist, a songwriter, and singer of remarkable depth, range, and emotion. Scott Carnder picked up the mandolin after years of training as a bassist, and utilizes his jazz skills in a completely new and refreshing manner. They often perform their own original music as The Sloes, but also deeply love to entertain people with the classic songs of the 1930's, '40's, and '50's.
