So many talented musicians have influenced my playing and life down here, it's a fishbowl of talent and creativity.
Growing up, the earliest music I can remember is listening to my parent's Spike Jones comedy records in our living room. Then came Jim Henson with the Muppets and Fraggle Rock. Then came piano lessons from my grandmother. Later, I started watching MTV all night and soon fashioned my first bass out of a lacrosse stick and a few rubberbands with a belt for a strap. Then came my first P-bass and a slew of garage bands. The key to music for me right now is listening to everything and drawing influence from it all. Just to open your ears as much as possible, i guess that's what got me here in the first place.

Aw! Hey cutie pie!! How are you? India? Holy awesomeness!!! Literally. Everything's great here. Chinese is shaping up and I went surfing for the first time yesterday... It's my new kung fu. I'm kind of obsessed already. Wish I could see you and give you a big squeeze! How are you?? I imagine things have been a little rough lately with your friend passing... Was thinking about you a lot.
Obama sticker on your bass? what are you Steve Earle? You should get stickers made that say 'this machine impregnates barren women' - if you don't I will.
