Experience the 2009-2010 Season
A major highlight of Carnegie Hall's news season is Ancient Paths, Modern Voices: A Festival Celebrating Chinese Culture, a citywide exploration of China's diverse and vibrant culture and its influence around the world. This 21-day festival includes events at Carnegie Hall and New York partner institutions from October 21 through November 10. This season also features the Kronos Quartet series, Perspectives; a spring residency by the the Richard and Barbara Debs Composer's Chair, Louis Andriessen; a celebration of the 200th anniversary of Frédéric Chopin’s birth; and "The Nativity Triptych," a December weekend of three concerts, each featuring a choral masterwork that depicts the Nativity story.
