Like the old three ring circuses, the Carnie Bums use a three man songwriting attack to create an eclectic mix of original rock music. Switching instruments, switching genres, switching vocalists; it's all part of the Carnie Bums routine. Like a midget being shot out of a cannon, the Carnie Bums explode on the stage with a high energy set that ranges from 70's retro rock, blues fused rock, modern rock, groove rock, punk, honky-tonk and more. Loud guitars, pounding drums, and a steady groove keep this carnival interesting for bars in the Colorado area!
We started as a rock, blues, classic rock cover band in the Denver area. From there, we have added our own originals and melded modern rock and punk stylings to classic rock and blues. We now focus on original tunes, but love to throw in the covers from the 60's all the way to today. On any given night you might hear the Rolling Stones, Snoop Dogg, Kings of Leon, Beastie Boys, Talking Heads, Grateful Dead or more. We're a rock band that hits all the marks and we're looking to play your venue for some good times and good brews.
