Carnival Cinema is a production company set up to promote and reveal the world of the modern day 'carnival'.
From Circus, Sideshow and Vaudeville to cabaret, music and Comedy that is the world of 'Carnival Cinema'. We primarily document the performing arts.
Carnival Cinema is run by Hamish McCormick - shooting, cutting and directing.
He collaborates with Captain Frodo - "the Incredible Rubberman" on particular projects when Frodo has time in between performing around the world and bringing his unique sideshow clowning to the people - at present he is with 'La Clique' - for The Famous Spiegeltent. La Clique is an inspired melange of cabaret, new burlesque, circus and contemporary vaudeville.

History -
With over 30 years of performing experience between them, circus/sideshow performers Hamish McCormick and Captain Frodo decided to combine their love of films and the circus.In doing so they set up a company that could produce short films, documentaries, and 'behind the scenes' of live shows or have a clothing label. Basically produce anything that came out of their slightly warped brains and put it under one banner.
And in doing so help promote the world that they exist in.
