Flint classes in World Fusion Belly Dance are located right off of 475 just north of 69. Here is Elysia's weekly class schedule:

Monday night, advanced technique (layering combinations); 6 – 7:20 pm
Choreography class; 7:30 – 8 pm

Tuesday night, beginning technique class starting March 3rd; 6 – 7:20 pm
Choreography class; 7:30 – 8 pm

Wednesday night, 1 hour private lessons, call for appointment, first come first serve

Thursday night, advanced technique (layering combinations); 6 – 7:20 pm
Choreography class; 7:30 – 8 pm

Friday night, “Dance ‘til you Drop” everyone is invited; 6 – 7 ish
Choreography class; starts after workout and runs ‘til 8 pm

For dance class, wear comfortable clothing (pants cut at the hip are preferable but not a necessity), shirts that are a bit form fitting are preferable so you can see your movements in the mirror.

In beginning technique classes, you will learn the basic techniques as well as a beginner choreography, if you wish, that you may perform with your fellow students at our Haflas that we hold regularly. Your friends and family may also be invited to the Hafla to watch your performance.

Call if you are interested in classes on Saturdays in either Utica at Argentine Tango or in Lake Orion on Lapeer Rd. in a studio which is located 2 miles north of the Palace.

Belly Dance classes are $10 for the 1st class, $5 for each additional class in the same day and/or week. Students pay for 4 beginning technique classes at a time ($40 non-refundable). You have 5 weeks to take the classes or you may pay $75 (non-refundable) for the month and you may take as many of the classes as you wish.
The cost of private lessons are based on individual circumstances.
Drum and Poi classes also available.

For dance class, wear comfortable clothing (pants cut at the hip are preferable but not a necessity). A form fitting shirt that you can stretch in is recommended so you can see your movements when you are learning new steps.

For drum, doumbek or darbuka, contact our instructor Rune Palland for inquiries regarding lessons or buying drums. Rune is an experienced performer and instructor, and lead musician/drummer for Carnivale Mijnoon.

Poi - bring a pair of pantyhose that can be cut up and 2 stress balls. (tennis balls can be used, but stress balls spin easier and hurt less when you hit yourself.) Classes are taught by Becca, member of Carnivale Mijnoon and experienced and highly skilled fire performer.
