The Carolina Cruisers were founded in 2006 by ML King, Sr. and a group of special people who shared a love for skating. Our pledge- to be a "Drama Free" skate organization. We have stayed true to our mission. Goals for 2009- to continue community service outreach, to work towards non-profit status, and to host a successful Second Annual CCSA East Coast Showcase. We also want to keep on rolling drama free while networking and sharing skate love with fellow skaters around the world!

About me:

The Carolina Cruisers Skaters Association are a Drama Free Skate organization located in Raleigh, NC. We roll every Sunday night from 8pm - 11pm (and some Tuesday or Thursday nights) at the Skate Ranch on Trawick Road. We welcome you to get your roll on with us! The Cruisers were awarded the Adrenalin Award for "Favorite Skate Club 2007" at the 2008 Adrenalin Awards Banquet. The Cruisers- with your help- have been nominated for three 2008 Adrenalin Awards: Largest Skate Club, Social Service Award, and Favorite Skate Club. We appreciate your continued support.

Who I'd like to meet:

Besides getting our roll on... we have participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk, UNC Public Television's Festival, Adopted Families, Participated in a Food Drive, Meals on Wheels Fundraisers, sponsored a health fair, and we are committed to serving our community. We launched a voter registration drive March 2 - October 5, 2008 in an effort to encourage unregistered citizens to take part in the political process.
