To All Carolina Crown Alumni:
I hope this email finds you all well! With this amazing season that Crown is having so far after beating the Cadets and winning Bronze in San Antonio, I am sure you are like me and pretty pumped up for the rest of the summer and especially Finals in Bloomington.
I wanted to make you aware of an exciting new venture with Carolina Crown. If you have not already heard, we are forming the first-ever Carolina Crown Alumni Association this year.
For those of you that are coming to, or are planning to come to NightBEAT this Sunday the 27th, please stop by a tent we will have set up for the Alumni Association in the NightBEAT Marketplace as we begin to enroll membership into the Association. You'll be able to get some information, talk to fellow alumni, and grab a few refreshments.
Also, we are planning to organize an Alumni social event in Bloomington during Finals. Keep an eye out on the website for more information and we will be sure to send out additional emails as Finals approach.
For those of you that cannot make either of these upcoming events, make sure you check the website often for Alumni updates as we move forward in the development of the Association. The Alumni page is found under the "About Crown" section on the Crown site.
Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Sincerely,
Keith Miller Crown Charter Member-1990 President, Carolina Crown Alumni Association
Alumns its time for you to get involved! As a Crown alumni, this is your chance to stay involved with the corps other than just joining a group online. This is an active group who seeks involvment and ideas from all alumni. Input is welcomed, needed, sought & appreciated. As of this writing, the alumni PLAN to have a tent set up at 1st Beat & NightBeat. Just as the corps has grown from one of the new kids on the block to one of the respected favorites, so is the alumni. This is going to take everybody doing their part to pull it off. Remember loading and unloading the equipment truck every day. When you would do something for someone else to help them out or when we would have to work together as a team to pack to be as effective as possible? It took everyone pulling together to get the corps as a whole moving. Such is the case here. Continue to monitor here & the website for upcoming info on how to STAY involved with a World Class that you love and that loves you.
