Carolina Softball Alliance will welcome all individuals no matter of race, sexual orientation or preference. Our goal is to provide a safe atmosphere to play softball and promote team comradery within the gay community.
We will be a competitive league that knows how to have fun, create a family oriented support group and possibly send several to numerous teams to represent N.C. in gay tournaments in the future across the U.S. If you don't want to play and still want to be a supporter, volunteer, or make a donation we welcome all.
All individuals will be placed on a team according to skill level and playing ability so all teams are divided evenly. Since players will be placed on teams, we will take in consideration if you have a partner or friend that would like to play on the same team that way you feel more welcome or comfortable entering a new league.
(This will be granted, only if teams can be divided up evenly.)
Game times are going to be posted for everyone to see as soon as we start the clinics. But this depends on participation and how many teams are formed and also if we can work around everyone personal lives.
This is a "League of Our Own" so make the best of it!!
The league is what you make of it so invite your friends; tell everyone we are here for you!

2009 Season:
Look forward to seeing returning players from 2007, 2008 seasons and new ones as well! Stay tuned to the website to see all the information that the league has about upcoming events and when clinics will begin for the 2009 season. The league has had open clinics and practices with great turnouts of new and former players the past seasons and can't wait to see all the new and old personnel, once we start up in the next couple of months.
Season starts in March/April of 2009 with Signups/Clinics:
Everyone is encouraged to attend, and please bring league fee of (to be determined) cash only (non-refundable).
Clinics are to test each person, personnel skill level and then be rated and placed on a team.
Be prepared to fill out paperwork and hit the field!!!
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD UNTIL ALL PAPERWORK IS TURNED IN AND ALL FEE'S HAVE BEEN PAID
ALL PLAYERS NEED TO SHOW THEIR COMMITTED BY ARRIVING ON TIME.WHICH MEANS IF WE START AT 3 BE THERE 30 MIN IN ADVANCED.

Eventually if enough need and interest is shown we may

Carolina Showtime had a good showing in Atlanta, started out as the # 1 seed in the tourney after round robin games and finishing 5th in the tourney. Thank you all who represented N.C in a big way and look forward to the next tourney in TN.!!!!
Just wanted to wish all the PLAYERS,FANS, and Friends WHO ARE MAKING THE JOURNEY down to Atlanta this weekend (July 3 Thru July 5th)for the Big Peach Softball Tourney. Carolina has 27 people in all going either to represent Carolina or cheer on your squad. HEY! I just wanted to say that i had a really great time at da tournament this weekend. FOR the most part it was mostly about the Tournament and the chance to meet new and different people from different sides of the States. I mean there was a range of dat Southern Draw, or da fast talks from the city slickers. But everyone was nice and respectful so it turned out to be a great tournament on and off da field. Can wait to do it again. THanks for da invite. BNasty.

I had a great time this season, especially getting to meet everyone. Thank you to the whole league for being very welcoming and I can't wait to play again!
Oh darn! Fall Season is around the corner and we dont even have enough time to gloat. Great Season guys and what a great turnout. I dont even think i signed so many autographs...It was a great experience and I know i am looking forward to new season and some more new teams to chew up on! Mighty Angels...Recognize.
I would just like to take this time and thank everyone for a great season this year. A big thanks to Ron for all the hard work you have done to get this league going and for all the work you do behind the scenes, that no one sees that you do. I’m looking forward to another great Fall season and seeing everyone. So everybody get the word out and lets see if we can’t get twice as many people to come out for the Fall season…

There was some great games on Sunday and it is good to see some of the teams raising the game a bit. good competiton is always good. The Angels will be looking forward to coming back after Vacation and pulling off another upset. There is a wall in front of us, but we have Wings...come out and see if they are strong enough to put us ova da top!
