Ho Great Mystery You give us the blessing of the longest day of light of the year, this time of the Summer Solstice
Father Sun is closest to our Mother Earth, the light is at its strongest now, empowering Great Grandmother Growth to flow forth with her rich abundance of new life. Thank you for this sacred time of opening to your Give Away of Illumination, Power, Spirit and New Growth. Thank you for this time of going out to explore the creation, enjoying and cultivating the fresh birthings coming up from our Mother's fertile womb, and growing ourselves with your help - roots in the madre, arms outstretched like the tree people we see all over in their fresh blossoming reaching out in joy to celebrate the gifts of grace that are all around us now.
Thank you for the precious breath of life. Thank you for all of creation. Thank you for you and the great teachings of the four holy seasons. Help us to honor this time of the year, to fill our selves up with Light. To take it deep down in to the center of our beings.
Help us to be channels for your light. And Great Spirit, help us to remember those who are less fortunate than us and to share the bounty of your infinite generousity, as you do always, with us, your children. May the warm blessings of Summer bless all who read this with love, healing, appreciation, courage and prosperity on all levels and all "Wakan", or sacred ways.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
