About me: I am an independent fashion showroom and have been in existence since 1991. The lines I carry have always been a little...alternative selling to a more...alternative crowd.
I started out in Miami Beach (back before it became too trendy) carrying lines like Glen Yank Jewelry, Cycle Venture skirts, Meet Me in Miami clothing, and lots of other cute things.
I have been in NYC since 1998 and for the past 7 years have been selling CBGB-www.cbgb.com. I am the one who originally helped bring the tshirts from the CBGB Gallery to stores all over America and the UK. from Trash and Vaudville to Virgin Megastore - and from music stores and boutiques to Urban OUtfitters, Nordstroms and Bloomingdales.
I also have a great line called Steady Clothing (www.steadyclothing.com) who produces clothing for the lines
Rock Steady, Adeline (done together with Billy Joe Armstrong and his wife Adrian), Switchblade Stiletto, Steady Classics and the rockabilly baby line,Ready Steady Go.
Who I'd like to meet: anyone interested in dressing as they want and not how they are told.
