   About Carolyn Cruso
"Elegant melodies…painting vivid pictures with a sensual palette of poetic images…an hypnotic and alluring blend of folk pop and jazz.” ~Richard Middleton, Victory Review “Painterly medieval folk blues arrives via djembe, trumpet and plaintive lyricism on Cruso’s beautiful ‘As Clear a Hue’” ~John Noyd, Maximum Ink Magazine, voted Deserted Island Ten Pack 2001 top folk CD “Boundless highlights both Carolyn’s fluid playing style and the broad knowledge of Celtic music she brings to her compositions. Oh my goodness...we so enjoyed you & your music at Sirens last weekend! ....I would love to collaborate with you in the future.  Your promo pics are so joyous & celebratory! You are an inspiration my friend. I can't wait to do another show together...perhaps in a more artistic venue...WE LOVED MEETING YOU! Please keep in touch.  My fav song of the night was your moody rain song  "... the leaves are drums for the rain..."

Peace be with you,
J & H

Here's a video that was captured of me offering my bottleneck slide
interpretation of an old blues song, Goin' T' Brownsville, on open mic
night at Old Strokers in Everett, WA. It starts out with me briefly
introducing my homemade "Nobro" resophonic guitar and explaining some
of the various recycled garage sale junk that I used in it's
construction. Enjoy!

Hey Carolyn, I've never played on Orcas. And I love it there. And I LOVED your stuff that I heard on Vashon. Looking down the road if you're interested maybe we could share a show or two in the San Juans. Robyn

It is a great day to be alive!

Thanks for including me!

What Question can I ask to empower myself and others?

What new thought can I notice now to add to my creativity?

How can I improve the experience of those I encounter today?

What can I do to facilitate your Gift?

Yesterday Is History

Tomorrow is a Mystery

Today is a Gift...

That's why we call it the Present

I just listened to all of your songs (advantage of tour - living) and they are beautiful. Especially Prasad. About to listen for the second time. Been too long since we've played duo flutes, can't wait 'til we do again.
