Movies
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar." (Julius Caesar)

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Thank oyu for your lovely comment on my picture. I am not sure why it turned out all blurry like that, probably the quality of the camera (being cheap). Thank you for the compliments. You are appreciated Carolyne :)
Hi.. I met a new MySpace friend today.. Her name is Dianna Paul. She is a singer/songwriter and she blessed me with a video she did called "The Rose".. It's a Bitter/sweet song about young love, the war and how they sometimes produce conflicting plans. I want to share it with you. I promise you will like it!
Good to have you as a friend! So great to see the internet in action this way, shortening distances between people.
