Your Blogging Type is Artistic and Passionate
You see your blog as the ultimate personal expression and work hard to make it great. One moment you may be working on a new dramatic design for your blog. And the next, you're passionately writing about your pet causes. Your blog is very important to you - and you're careful about who you share it with. (personal note: This part didn't fit. I'm generous in sharing my blogs.)

    You Are Midnight
You are more than a little eccentric, and you're apt to keep very unusual habits. Whether you're a night owl or taking a vow of silence - you like to experiment with your lifestyle. Expressing your individuality is important to you, and you often lie awake in bed thinking about the world and your place in it. You enjoy staying home, but that doesn't mean you're a hermit. You also appreciate quality time with family and close friends.
  • Movies

Comedies, drama, true stories - I like them all but rarely go to the theatre. Haven't been since 'The Passion of the Christ' when it was released several years ago. I liked Full Metal Jacket, The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal although they were all brutal.

I liked Splash, A Fish Called Wanda, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for the laughs.

The Green Mile, 12 Monkeys and The Shawshank Redemption were enjoyed because they made me think and set aside my temporary cares. Gone with the Wind is a classic. I also liked Fargo and Pulp Fiction.

  • Television

Sometimes I feel like a dinosaur when people talk about unknown television characters to me because I've only watched tv the last two years. I do(sadly) know the voices from many of the older shows like South Park and Beevis and Butthead. I don't think my life is enriched by emulating those voices but occasionally they will bring a laugh. I have been watching some shows, movies (and sports) just to share time with my husband. I have to record & fast forward the commercials.

Here's a list of authors only, I read too many books to list. Susan Wittig Albert, Sandra Brown, James Lee Burke, William Bernhardt, David Baldacci, William Coughlin, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, C. Terry Cline, Robert Crais, Lee Child, John Connolly, Orson Scott Card, Jeffrey Deaver, Jonathan and Faye Kellerman, Iris Johansen, James Patterson and Danielle Girard (see friend's list). Will add more later.
  • Heroes

All the people who do unpleasant thankless jobs day after day, year after year. All the military personnel in all branches of the service who keep my freedoms free. I stand in awe of your work!

Mafia Wars

About me:

I have an offbeat sense of humor, but an abundance of it. I am self-contained. I don't bend my values to 'fit in'.

What you see is what you get. If you don't like the view, look the other way!

I moved to Arizona November 2008 & am presently living in the state of CONFUSION. It's tough downsizing 30 years worth of stuff to fit into a 22 foot rented U Haul truck. I'm still unpacking tons of boxes but making progress.

I love words and writing. I adore doing research. I'm learning Vietnamese with a Pimsleur course. Languages, regional dialects (accents) fascinate me. I have lots of projects for 2009, writing again, doing ancestry research & to start painting. Of course healthwise my goal is to return to health as much as possible by making wise choices the biggest percentage of the time.

Puppy Precious is now two years old with room to grow & a is beautiful bullmastiff. Everyone who meets her at the dog park wishes she weren't spayed. She's still a full time job although not as high maintenance as when she was a puppy.

I used to believe that television is an abortionist of creative thought. It may still be, but I've utilized it's services to 'zombie' out during stressful times the past year.

Music, almost any music is an earful of treasure (as is hearing the laughter of children). Hearing my daughter, Amanda sing (especially the songs she writes) makes me cry. I don't cry easily. I was 45 before I learned HOW to cry and I still don't LIKE it at 61!

I have no concept of what other people call TIME and I cannot always carry a thought through to completion.

I love opera! Puccini is one of my favorites but Wagner runs a close second.

Dancing is a trip. I can dance more sitting down than some people can standing up. It's special talent of putting many muscles and connective adipose tissue in simultaneous motion.

I have the ice-berg or dragon-flame eyes and can use both effectively, sometimes simultaneously!

I've gone with short hair spikes but don't enjoy the 'goop' to keep it that way. I don't miss my long hair anymore but to miss the red color & won't use dye. I don't think I could deal with losing any more brain cells from chemicals. Since I believe there is NO such thing as a 'bad hair' day, only 'good hat' day I wear a variety of wild and crazy, bold, bodacious and mysterious hats! Just gave away all hats but my very favorites.

I have to be on guard constantly from using my wickedly sharp tongue. I revised my 'tongue piercing' to serve as a 'governor' when I feel especially feisty.

I value ALL my friends. I have a wide variety of friends. However, their comments may not reflect my personal philosophy or creed. Screening comments became tiresome, so if something off color, derogatory or disrespectful gets posted, I will remove it. I also delete comments after a certain period of time to enhance page loading speed. Don't take it personally.

Here is a blog link to why I'm 'differently abled'. My blogs & entire profile page all need to be updated..

Do not look back, my friend
no one knows how the world ever began.
Do not fear the future, nothing lasts forever.
If you dwell on the past or the future
    you will miss the moment.

Life is not what you see, but what you’ve projected. It’s
not what you’ve felt, but what you’ve decided. It’s not
what you’ve experienced, but how you’ve remembered it.
It’s not what you’ve forged, but what you’ve allowed. And,
it’s not who’s appeared, but who you’ve summoned.

And this should serve you well, beloved, until you find
    what you already have.

    Hey Dear MySpace Friends,

I made the decision to reset my Privacy Settings & keep the account.  I'll try to get here more often instead of just Facebook or Tagged.  I play MafiaWars on tagged.
    Hope you're all doing well,
    Injoy:) Carolyn
