Hello friends, visitors, clients and business acquaintances! And welcome to my myspace site. For those of you who are not familiar with me, I’ll give you a brief background on some of my interests and business activities.
Over the past two decades I have been working as a promotion and publicist agent, and am CEO & Founder of CTW Entertainment Agency. The mainstay of my agency entails writing press releases, and preparing press kits to aid my clients in the promotion of their involvement in the music industry business. And when asked, I’ll even provide some friendly advice, guidance and direction with what steps you might want to take next on your musical journey to success.
Typically, I like to think of myself as a “dreamweaver” who truly enjoys helping talented artists, performers, writers and musicians take their careers to a higher level in order to realize their dreams and achieve their goals.
I have a strong background in public relations, which includes; Motivational Speaking, Promotion and Special Event Coordinator for several different radio stations, radio commercial copywriting, High School & Grade School Special Assembly Events, Chamber of Commerce Community & Business Public Relations/Promotions and Guest Speaker at numerous Church Assemblies.
Since I have loved the arts from childhood, I am blessed to have a gift for writing and drawing art illustrations for children books, and have been an independent toy designer for close to three decades. If you notice the artist's banners on my page...I have designed most of them for my clients.
My literary efforts and accomplishments include being a published poet and songwriter. Writing poetry has awarded me the honor of being a recipient of inclusion in the “National Authors Registry” of the “President’s Award for Literary Excellence.” And I am especially proud of the country song “A Line That I’m Not Gettin’ Over” that I co wrote with Brad Miller of Bath, New York which recently charted on the ECMA Top – 100 Country Music Radio Airplay Chart...peaking at number 8 and remained on the chart for over 12 weeks.
My choice in music is very eclectic, as I enjoy everything from Classical to Jazz, Traditional Country, Southern Gospel and Bluegrass! I do admittedly enjoy listening to Eric Clapton, Jim Croce, James Taylor, and also the wonderful Reggae songs by Bob Marley. Simply stated, I love music no matter what the genre. And is it any wonder that music is called the “universal language” everyone loves and understands?
Last, but certainly not by any means least, I am the very proud mother of three grown sons and three beautiful grandchildren. Life has been good to me, I am blessed ... no doubt about it!
Footnote: Carolyn Taylor White was recognized for her outstanding business accomplishments on October 4th of 2005 when she received the coveted Manchester “Who’s Who Among Executive & Professionals”. She is listed in the “International Honors Edition” as one of the nations’ most prominent business women.
