The end of 2007 was a huge year of re-birth for 4 young men from Tucson, Arizona. Two brothers (Eric and Bryan Castillo) and a friend (Billy Joseph) were brought together to play music with a passion and a purpose. All 3 guys, having strong roots playing in churches, teamed up with drummer Steven Koenig, to form Carousel. With big hearts and a big sound they began an unstoppable force, devoting the first months solely to preparation and product production.
As a band, Carousel’s number one purpose is to make a difference in the lives of youth, teens and adults. Not only through music but through individual lifestyle choices. With Jesus Christ at the center of each member’s life and a passion to pursue excellence, the band is moving forward every day. Carousel’s members have touring experience and countless live performances under their belt. They are one of the hardest working bands in Arizona, influencing from acts such as Coldplay, The Killers, U2, and Jimmy Eat World.
With a vision in front of them and purpose along side of them, Carousel has already made a difference. Never settling for less than the best, Carousel will continue to make a difference in the lives of those around them and the lives of countless others.
