About me:

Welcome to my newly update space. I decided it was time to pay a little attention to this page. I'm usually on Facebook, so if your looking for me and you have an account through them, look for me there. Other than that I'm sure you know all about me. Lately I've been spending a lot of time finishing up school. I only have one week left. After school is done I'll be looking for work. Life is really up in the air after June 13th. I'm not really sure where I'll be going or what I'll be doing. This is really hard for me as I like to have things well planned out. As my mother says, I don't deal well with change. I think it's more that I don't deal well with the unknown. Once things have changed I'm fine with it.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet the influential leaders of our time. It would be interesting to just sit down and talk with them one on one. It's sad that to talk with any of them though you have to get through all the people that are protecting them. But if I didn't have to deal with all that, then yeah I'd like to sit down with the people that have the most influence on the citizens of this country.

    I'm interested in a lot of things. My main interest is in making things easier for children in the foster care system and for kids awaiting adoption.

    I pretty much listen to 80's, 90's and some stuff from the present... My all time favorite singer is Olivia Newton John! I just recently got an Ipod touch so I've been listening to more music. If you know a song that I just have to hear... tell me cuz I'm always looking for something new.

  • Movies

    You name it I've already seen it or planning on seeing it. I like anything that makes me laugh, cry, or feel deep emotions. I miss going almost every Friday night with my friends to the theater. My ideal date now would be dinner and a movie only cuz I can't go all that often. I've only walked out of 2 movies in my life. Now that I have netflix I can see anything that has ever been made. (though I don't recommend doing that)

    Piers Anthony Xanth Series, VC Andrews, Christopher Moore, Christopher Pike, Dragonlance books, Twilight Series, Stephanie Plum Novels, and I'm always looking for new authors to read. I've recently gotten really into a few different Vampire series. I guess I'm getting into fantasy books. Though I put off reading novels until I'm on break from school, because I'll spend too much time reading those books and not enough time reading my text books. Just 1 more week and I'll not have that problem anymore :) I have this book I've been saving all quarter to read... I CAN'T WAIT TO READ IT!!!

    My Grandpa Shauman who taught me about being a good person to all I meet, My Grandma Shauman who taught me the fine are of cooking and baking and the beauty of music, My Grandma Filip who taught me how to find the beauty in all things and to be a strong woman, Tim Bigelow my youth Pastor who taught me how to love Jesus and how to spread that love around, while all four of these people have passed away, they will always be in my heart and their lessons will be with me for my entire life. My Father and My Mother because they have taught me so much in my life and the best thing about our relationship now is that since I have grown up we have grown closer. Last but not least, my husband. He has taught me what it means to be loved unconditionally, and how to love others the same way. He has taught me more about accepting people as they are and not asking them to change than anyone else has in my life.

    Yeah you're right I probably shouldn't compare the movie to the book.  I'm glad you still like it in Bellevue; I know I always liked it when i visited there.  Let me know if you see the movie! :)

    I'm pretty sure I'm going to see it in the theater, since it looks better than the first one to me. Plus I've finally started reading the books, so I would like to see how the movie compares to the book.  Are things still going well in Bellevue?

    Hey, how are things going? i tried calling you the other day. Ted and I are thinking about having like a small get together, so everyone can see were we live and can hang out. He is having a couple of his friends over and i am having a few of mine, and we were wondering if maybe you and paul would like to join?     I finished The House of Night Series... they are fantastic!!!  Aphrodite made me think of Cordy.  I couldn't help to giggle when she referred to herself as Vision Girl!

    ok, so the date was awesome!! I was so ecstatic that I actually got a date. This guy is so awesome, we're just taking it slow, being friends first, neither of us are really ready for a serious relationship. The job is in Yakima it's at a place called Community Living, it's kind of like a caregiver job, only not quite so much caregiving is involved.

    It is actually REALLY nice to have a day to myself!  I have been super duper busy with my parents lately, and needed some transition from being done with school/work and having family around a ton....... yet didn't really get it.  Oh well.  How have you been?  Love the song that pops up on here!

    Yeah I'm sure it was hard being back there. Are you just going back to check on things in the fall?  Things are going pretty good with me. I am now done with full time teaching for student teaching, so I am just helping my mentor teacher with things for the rest of the quarter.  Matt and I are still together, and things are still going well with us.  How have things been for you? I can't believe that we're going to graduate so soon!

    I'm still in school.  I decided to take additonal classes and increase my degree because of the economy.  I am graduating in December though.

    i am at home sick. Kaden is with grandma. Tomorrow is when we are meeting. but i am just meeting with my side of the group. i am not sure when your side is meeting. its been so hard trying to get everything figured out.

    We're doing fine right now. My grandpa is still hangin in there. I had a nice visit with him Friday before we headed up to Spokane. Just waiting to see what happens.

    That's cool that you're interviewing for a camp position. It seems like you would get it, since you have lots of experience working at camps. It is scary to think about getting a real job, but hopefully I will just be able to get a job with the way things are going now with the economy.
