After a successful ten-year climb up the corporate ladder, I assessed the view from above, took a deep breath and decided to jump. Landing softly on my piano bench, I was comforted by the sentiments that floated inside me longing to be a rhythmic wave of melody. I traded in the navy power suit and fancy wheels in search of the missing rung that has revealed itself in words and music. After experiencing unconditional love and unfathomable loss in my life, I have found my voice with an even stronger yearning. My fingers forged a second home dancing on my Martin in the evenings as my newborn children slept. I am very blessed and grateful to have found my passion...to live my dream of having the courage to share my private thoughts and emotions in hopes of connecting to a collective compilation of human spirit along this harmonic journey we call life. Thank you for your support! May all you wish for be on it's way.
"Just listened to Carrie Rowan's CD: Almost Home. The sweet soulful music with elegance and style is thought provoking and mellow like Sunday! The songs and vocals are smart, sincere and the mature, artistic expression of a budding artist blooming with talent". Charles Sorrento, Berklee College of Music Professor
"I've listened to Almost Home a number of times and think it's really well done...introspective, sincere, melodic, sweetly sung...some excellent melodies that stick. All the songs weave together in such a tapestry of emotions". Jon Ims, Hit Songwriter ("She's in Love with the Boy”)
"For a first CD, everything about it is beautifully polished, but it's her delicate voice and honest lyrics, along with an impressive lineup of musicians lending their talents on this CD that makes it an oustanding first effort". Kate Hannigan Reporter for the Weekly Record, June 2008

Hey Carrie, I've got a video up of the boys singing the team song and I throw a new challenge to them at the end. There is also another on of the quarter time break where I get to yell at them. The only reason I coach football is so I can yell at someone cause I'm not allowed to yell at home. cheers Jack
Hey Carrie, As you know we won and I am enjoying this win more than any of the others. The boy's were sensational to beat a team that were a lot bigger and stronger and really hit them was fantastic, I am so proud. The music festival on the 5th souns good, havea great week, cheers Jack...

I just thought I would drop by and say hi since it's been a while. I also wanted to let you know I posted a new song on my player. Just in case you want to go give it a listen. Hope all is well with you, and you are staying busy.
Things are definitely picking up here that's for sure. I picked up several new clients in the last couple of weeks alone so I'm not complaining.
Keep in touch and let me know what you're up to when you can. I'll do the same.
Hey Carrie, had a big week with newspaper articles about the team and offers from clubs to coach but today in the pouring rain we LOST the second semi final. First loss in nearly five years. Now we have to win next week to make the Grand Final and if we win that we play the side that beat us today. Lot of hard work coming up.. have a great week,, Jack...
Hey Carrie, Stopped by for a listen today, as always, enjoyed your tunes! Hope all is well, appears you're busy, which is a good thang. ATTIC SESSIONS is just about completed, should have a couple of tunes up in the next week or so. Starting a new CD after that and then, yes another new project. Be well my friend and keep at it, Christopher
Hey Carrie... thanks so much for the kind words and enthusiasm. It's been a lot of fun and I'm excited to take what we've been doing out of the basement! Great to hear you're playing a folk festival up in NH and getting your music out there. Your authenticity and humor will be sure to please the crowd. If you can't make it back in time, no worries. I know how tough it can be. Thanks again Carrie. Hope to see you soon!
