About me: Hi there! I’m Carson D. Engel, Seeing Eye Dog for my master, Marcus Engel. Or, as I prefer to think of myself, Carson D. Engel, C.N.S.(Canine Navigation System)
I’m a seven year old black Labrador retriever, well trained by the Seeing Eye, Inc. in Morristown, NJ. I’ve now been partnered with Marcus for the last five and a half years. My first four years, Marcus and I lived in St. Louis, MO where I made lots of friends with Marcus’ buds and their dogs. Then, Marcus met and married Marvelyne and relocated us to Orlando, FL.
I’m always with Marcus when he travels the country speaking. This has taken us from Miami to Seattle, New York to San Diego… and pretty well everywhere in between!
When we’re on the road, I love, Love, LOVE meeting new people, getting belly rubs from everyone, picking up leftover peanuts on the floors of planes and sniffing everything! When we’re working from home, I love taking well-deserved naps, playing with my favorite toys, chewing on Nyla-Bones, getting petted by everyone in the house and searching around the kitchen floor for forgotten morsels of food!
Please check back to see what adventures Marcus and I have been on. I’ll try to get him to take pictures, but you know blind guys and cameras don’t always go together! Thanks for visiting my profile! Woof!
..
Who I'd like to meet: dog lovers & people with nails who know how to use 'em!

Dog, it was great seeing you the other day - only wish it could have been longer.Sorry that the conversation was so scattered (it may be the steroids). Hope to smell you soon.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARSON!!! Darwin, Maddie, and I are all thinking of you on your birthday. Make sure Marc gives you plenty of good treats for you big day!
Hi Carson you are such a handsome devil and so popular. It's neat to have a doggie profile on my friends list! You keep Marcus straight and you two keep enjoying life!!
Hey Carson! I was your seeing eye puppy raiser :) we're so glad to see you having such an exciting life, you're quite a celebrity! By the way, you grew up to be quite a beautiful dog (from the goofy little puppy you were!)
