cartatrots è un piccolo contenitore di immagini, in formato pdf e sfogliabile gratuitamente on-line. Può ospitare qualsiasi forma di arte visuale: pittura, scultura, fotografia, street-art, arte digitale, videoarte, ecc..
Il progetto nasce nel 2008 a L'Aquila, inizialmente come tacuino passato di mano in mano tra studenti dell'Accademia e in cui era possibile disegnare, scrivere, appiccicare qualsiasi cosa venisse in mente (cartatrots #0). Subito dopo abbiamo portato il progetto all'interno del web. Qui l'intenzione è quella di creare un piccolo spazio in cui conoscere nuovi artisti e dare loro visibilità.
Chiunque può mandare la propria opera a cartatrots, noi sceglieremo quelle che a nostro giudizio ci sembreranno le migliori.
