Generally speaking, I am a quixotic blend of everything you have ever known, and nothing you have ever expected.
Music
I love everything. When I am stressed I listen to classical, when I am sleepy - jazz, fatigued - pop, cranky - rock, homey - country, mellow - folk, funky - r&b. I like old hymns, not new christian pop. I could be obsessed with Beethoven, I love the countdown on VH1, and on Sunday nights I transcend this body while listening to music from the hearts of space. So yeah, I think there are sharps and flats ridin' through my veins.
Movies
I guess my favorite types of movies would be ones with great locations and British comedies. I get it (you daft prick). Any movie I can watch with my kids. Movies with incredible scores. Twilight, the only movie I have ever seen three times in a theater.
Television
Always, always, always The Young and the Restless. Grey's Anatomy (thank you Denny), Desperate Housewives, American Idol (hello!), Design Star, October Road (is it coming back on or what?), George Lopez (i need a depends for every single episode), It's Me or the Dog, Documentaries on the History Channel, Paranormal crap (cracks me up), Antiques Roadshow, Nashville Star, on and on......
Books
I loved the Twilight Series. Am currently reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles. The older I get the more I love classic literature. Anna Karenina. The Bible.

About me: Update: The clinic let me go, so now I am just staying at home and selling Scentsy!!
Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2008 and has completed her chemo and radiation, she only has to do Herceptin now, which is easy compared to what she has gone through. What that has taught me is that she is one tough momma, and I am glad I've got her genes in me! All of us girls are, we have to be. I have been to the doctor more than I ever wanted to this year. God has a way of putting the brakes on you just when you think you can do it all, but its okay. Being in pain every day teaches you patience, you have to learn how to do things in a different way, and to rest when your body says to rest. That is one thing I taught my mom how to do, and she looks ten years younger for it.
My children are my joy, my beautiful creations of brilliant souls. I love raising them and know I am giving God good soldiers. They love Jesus, and I am so proud of them for who they are. My husband, 16 years and counting. Lord knows nobody else would have put up with my old cranky butt this long and vice versa. He is my best friend, and I love him.
Went on a two week vaca out west to Yellowstone, Badlands, South Dakota. Wore me out, will enjoy going back with LeRoy and the kids (went with mom, dad, and kids).
Allie starts high school this year. I pray she lives up to her brilliant mind. She is awesome, but sooooo headstrong. Aaron will be in 2nd grade soon, he is my little man! JuHo is still going strong. I am hoping this next doctor I see in Nashville is the ONE. I am wearing down as my body does and am about to give in to the fact that I just can't do it anymore. Hope everyone has a great back to school season!!
Peace
