Carter Fox has been entertaining audiences with his music for nearly the last 5 years now (though he has been performing as part of larger ensembles since age 9). Carter, an eclectic bassist and native of Lansdale, PA, a suburb of music-hub Philadelphia, has been spending more than a decade honing his craft of the bass, producing, writing, and recording all styles of music. He has studied with legendary session-player Kjell Benner and legendary bass player Gerald Veasley (who is now a good friend and mentor), as well as with Billy Childs (Britny Fox), Victor Wooten, Brian Bromberg, and Adam Nitti. Fox has released 4 solo releases, and has recorded on more than 2 dozen projects. HIs latest releases, "Suburbia" (indie) and "Pride" (ToFo Records) are available on iTunes, Amazon, and other major digital retailers. Notable acts he has played with include Ju-Taun, who were on MTV's "Next Top Pop Group" as well as NBC 10!'s 2010 Talent Search competition winners, Kevin James Devine, who's debut release received international airplay, Hale Allen, a Philly-rock staple, Jessy Tomsko, a singer/songwriter with the voice of an angel, Jades of Blue, and is currently writing for an upcoming project dubbed "Shaman Ramen". He records, produces, and gigs with numerous groups around Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. "Do what you love, and love what you do."
