....Electro-pop formation Cartonnage was founded in 2003 and consisted of producer/musician Armin Effenberger and singer Vanda Choco . Cartonnage are from Prague, Czech Republic. It began in 2001 when Armin and Vanda Choco started to record the first moods. So band was born. They recorded debut CD1 album in 2004. Debut album CD1 featured was nominated by the Expresradio Golden Ear in the category discovery of the year. Four songs from CD1 was used like a soundtrack by Dan Svatek's movie Close to heaven The success continued with their album Curiously Connected ( 2008 , EMI Escape ) Cartonnage became Newcommer of the year , and always being nominated record of the year in Czech ‘Grammy , ‘ Filter ‘ music awards magazine and music awards TV Ocko. They also cooperated with MOBY and released for him vocal reedit of 257.zero from the album Last Night. They have played in many places alongside names such as Roisin Murphy, Hercules and love affaire , Mr Oizo, Casio Kids,…. Nowadays Cartonnage work on third album...... .. .. .. .. Cartonnage – groupe électro-pop de Prague, est formé par le producteur Armin Effemberger et la .chanteuse Vanda Choco. Ils représentent la jeune scène tchèque et sont devenus populaires grâce à la sortie de leur album Curiously Connected (2008 par EMI/Escape). Cet album, très apprécié par la critique, a remporté le prix du magazíne FILTER et a été designé pour le prix Anděl et celui de la télévision Tv Očko. Comme la découverte de l..année, ils ont représenté la scène tchèque de clubs au festival français Europavox à Clermont Ferrand. En automne, ils ont ouvert le festival Electronic Beats au Palais de la Foire de Prague. La formation a aussi tourné le reedit vocal de la composition 257.zero avec Moby. Le nouveau clip vidéo du single Pâtisserie a accédé à la compétition finale au festival du cinéma aux Pays-Bas. A l..heure actuelle, Cartonnage travaille sur leur 3e album qui va sortir au début d..octobre 2010. Au printemps, vous pourrez entendre quelques compositions de ce nouvel album pendant leurs concerts en live . Une partie inséparabe des concerts sont les projections dont s..occupe studio Phase. .. .. .. .. ..Pražská electro-popová formace Cartonnage, kterou tvoří producent Armin Effenberger a zpěvačka Vanda Choco má za sebou úspěšné , hudební kritikou oceňované album Curiously Connected,( 2008 EMI/Escape ) , za kterou získala cenu časopisu Filter a byla nominovaná na ceny Anděl a Tv Očko. Jako objev české klubové scény byla v loňském květnu vyslána na prestižní francouzský festival Europavox v Clermont Ferrand, na podzim otevírala v pražském veletržním paláci festival Electronic beats. Dále natočila vokální reedit skladby 257.zero s Mobym. Novy videoklip k singlu Patisserie postoupil do hlavní soutěže na filmovém festivalu v Holandsku. V současné době Cartonnage pracuje intenzivně na třetím řadovém albu, které vyjde začátkem října 2010. První ochutnávku z nového alba můžete slyšet od letošního jara na živých koncertech.
