3/11/09. 7:25 AM. Time for a Nap.

Posted the final sketch track for "Sleepwalk."

2/26/09. 4:04 PM. the Secrets That You Keep

I just posted "Sleepwalk." I finally decided to stop worrying about finding the "proper" bass parts, quit spending my time trying to toe the line between interesting and appropriate. Basically, the bass on this recording is mindful of the general rules of the medium in the sense that I am aware of them, but I don't give a shit. It's much more fun this way.....

1/12/09. 3:14 AM. Don Cheadle

What's up everyone? How ya doin' one person who actually looks at this? Nice to see you sir or madam. Anyways, things are greatly progressing; "Bad Robot" marks the beginning of actually making something out of a year of development. More to come soon, and feel free to comment, even if what you say is retarded and you hate me.....cuz i love you anyways, asshole.....

7/16/08. 2:50 AM. Sh-Schmayonaisse.

My apologies for the disappearance of late, but, for those who don't know, it has not been without progress. Drew suggested a Facebook base as well as this one, and I seem to have neglected to keep them both updated. However, I shall do so now. First off, JR is currently doing some work with "Funeral March," and Drew will join as a full fledged collaborator next month when his life ceases to be a whirlwind. Second, I am adding the four newest tracks ("Absinthe and the Imposter (Part 1+2)","Requiem: Ghosts in the Machine", and "Lullaby: the Great War") as well as an updated version of "Funeral March;" if you've enjoyed what is up so far, I think you'll like these. Also, there has been light discussion of starting to play a few shows, the first possibility being opening for the Silent Parade album release, which would be very convenient as JR and Drew are both members of SP, and I did all of their artwork. For anyone who hasn't heard Silent Parade, they are a great band (and a good preview of how the vocals will sound); check them out through the friends list below. I guess that's it for now; thanks for listening....

Oh, almost forgot: I put all of the final track versions in one place so it will be easier to find. They are at....

5/29/08. 2:34 PM. Rabbits + Multiplication

Okay, so I am definitely not following the song order I previously claimed; my apologies. Recent changes have forced a bit of a new direction, and I say "forced" in the most positive sense. I fear I have opened Pandora's Box with my new software options, but, again, in a progressively positive light. I put up "Hunt for the March Hare" as is, but it is not complete as it will soon be accompanied by the vocals of Drew Thomas. Further, I am currently working on the next track, which will be aided by the voice of the younger (separate but equal, dear sir) Thomas brother, Jonathan. I've been thinking that the way things are shaping up, it is not out of the realm of possibility to have enough for an EP by the end of the summer. Time will tell....

5/20/08. 3:42 PM. the Fruit of Knowledge

I just put up the preview for "the Dead Rabbits." I still have plans to do "Requiem" and have actually already done a decent amount of work on it, but the afore mentioned track is taking precedent at the moment as, time willing, I am working with a special secret collaborator. If it is done that way, it will be done very soon.

Also, I would like to note that I finally figured out what I was doing with Ableton Live in terms of effects and such. As a result, I am proud to say that "the Dead Rabbits" will be 100% original (a.k.a. no samples). I think that is an accomplishment of note.
