.... .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. You want to know about ..ME..? Ask!.. And by the way, it's not ..cartrouble..! It's ..Carty..! Some nut got to that ID before me (she's added to my friends list by the way!)... Let's go back to ..1987.. for a moment. I had started as a club DJ after miming to a ..DMC.. mix during my audition. I was given the job...of course! They are great mixes! Around the same time I had also started as a radio DJ. Both roles couldn't have been any further apart, but remained very much part of my life for 15 years... I had used the radio studio for practising and perfecting my mixing skills, but everything I had created had stayed inhouse. But in ..2003.. I quit the DJing to concentrate on my demanding day job. Around the same time I discovered mixing software for the PC and my passion was reborn... I started to try my hand at remixing like those who influenced me as a DJ, ..DMC.. and ..Mastermix.. (the two UK DJ Subscription services who provide monthly mixes for the nation's club and radio jocks). Those remixes were mainly of tunes by ..Adam And The Ants.., which I grew up with in a big way as a teenager... Since that time I have produced over ..60.. Ant remixes, mainly for myself and the Ant fans online. This has all lead to me being more inventive and experimental and creating tracks that I can truly call my own. I aim to share some of these with you on here in the near future... In more recent times I have been fortunate to work with ..Marco Pirroni.. (ex-Ants guitarist and songwriter) on a few tracks, one of which featured ex Ant bassist and ..Wolfmen.. counterpart, ..Chris Constantinou... An exclusive remix of (Chant) Mantra II (Filthy Remix) was produced for ..Mantra II..'s second album, ....Werewolves Of London..... As a result of that remix, the band, which features ex-Ant ..Terry Lee Miall.. on drums, asked me to finish off production duties on another six of the album's tracks... And just to come back full circle, one of my Ant mixes made it onto the one of the ..DMC.. albums, the releases I held in such high esteem almost 20 years ago. Since all of that I have been 'swamped' (ha!) with requests to work with other bands and a few other production projects. .. More info on my own creations will appear soon. For now, bugger off somewhere else........... .. .. .. ........................
