   About Cary Beare
2008

So, I think I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't update my site. But there are reasons for this!

You can find current info about what I'm up to at myspace.com/kingsize and thisiskingsize.com

Still send me emails here though!!

See ya there!

2007
Doin' some one-off's with Deana Carter. Also playing with some friends of mine in a band called Satellite. My orignal Band KINSIZE is starting to cause a little bit of a stir in the music biz.

2006
Continued rockin' it with Deana Carter. And I filled in on bass with Heart for a couple shows in Northern CA.

2005:
Started playing guitar with Deana Carter in March.

2004:
Continued gigging with Garrison Starr.

2003:
Currently I'm getting ready to hit the road with Peter Stuart as guitarist/tour manager. I'm out from 5/1/03 to 5/21/03. Upon return, I start recording Garrison's new CD. This one is gonna rock so hold on to your earplugs!! I just put the finishing touches on Bennett Cale's new CD. More on that later...... I've stepped into the digital world and am Pro Tools savy. For those of you that do not know, Pro Tools is a virtual recording studio! It's awesome. I will be finishing the follow up to "Behind the Veil" this year. Be listening.........

2000-2002:
Moved back to LA and picked up where I left off.. Met Cynthia Catania via Jason Gordon. We played some gigs and wrote a couple songs. Later Cynthia started Saucy Monky and recorded "Dont wanna know your name" on their debut release. It has been getting some airplay in Ireland. Wrote the theme song "Waiting For A Girl Like You" for the ABC sitcom "Less Than Perfect". Got the gig but the song still hasn't aired. They do use pieces of it throughout the show. This next season I'm sure we'll all get to hear it.

In 2001 I started gigging with Garrison Starr and recorded on her cd "Songs from take off to Landing" for Virgin/Backporch. We toured our butts off for 7 months and I learned how to be a tour manager.

1997-1998:
Wrote and recorded with Gracie Moon. I ended up joining the band as the organ/rhodes player. This all took place in Atlanta, GA.

1993:
Moved to Nashville, wrote and recorded many songs. Had a few people cover my songs. Recorded Ghosttown album with Suzanna Spring. Wrote a song with Karen Staley who later recorded it for her Warner Brothers CD "FEARLESS" The song is called "Cross the Battle Line". Recorded Hermit solo cd, inspired by music in the dream scape.

1990 until...:
Played bass with the Riverdogs, toured Europe, etc. Played on many sessions.

Age 21:
Formed "Gotham". Played gigs locally in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho 'til I moved to LA @ 25.

Age 19:
Joined Pacific northwest band "LION".

Age 18:
Joined Rapid Fire, a local Spokane band. We played a lot of heavy metal covers at high school proms.

Age 17:
Went on my first US tour with "Fast Eddie".

Age 14:
Began playing gigs for money with the local rock band "LYTZ" (Lights). I Played bass. I still have the band sign somewhere in Idaho. Jay Pennick-drums, Barry Aiken-keys, Steve Keller-guitar and lead vocals.

Get off the computer and get back to work!
There's brush to burn, floors to level and many many other things to do.
Just make sure you wear a very, very, very, VERY warm jacket and three pairs of gloves.
