Chris Anderson comes from Cary, just outside of Raleigh. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, and later studied at the University Of North Carolina School Of Music. Chris has performed at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, and throughout the Eastern United States including Hilton Head Island, S.C., Chattanooga, T.N., Kings Dominion, V.A., Tucson, A.Z., Boston, M.A., Philadelphia, P.A.. The Worlds' Fair in Knoxville, T.N.. Greenville and Spartanburg, S.C.. Savannah, G.A.. Charleston, S.C.. and Wilmington, Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, N.C. Chris Anderson & Gail Leonard have been performing their lively instrumentals on acoustic guitar and upright bass in the Raleigh area since 2003. Their 'welcoming instrumentals' enhance banquet halls, corporate events, grand openings, upscale dining, art galleries, and private functions. Recent performances include the Apex Peak Festival, Bavarian Brathaus, the Residences at the Arboretum Grand Opening, Cardinal Club, Prestonwood and MacGregor Downs Country Clubs, Cary Town Hall, Page-Walker Arts and History Center, Town of Cary Banquets, Apex Performing Arts Center, Wendell and Cary Chamber of Commerce Banquets, the Downtown Cary Winter Festival, Chatham Hill Winery, Downtown Cary Farmers Market each Saturday morning, Cindy's House Cafe, and the New Hope Valley and North Carolina Railroad Museum. Their performance volume is such that guests can easily converse during the event. Dressing appropriately for each occasion is always a priority.
