I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering, "Do I have food on my face? Am I eating? Am I talking too much? Are they talking enough? Am I interested? I'm not really interested. Should I play like I'm interested? But I'm not that interested, but I think she might be interested. But do I want to be interested? But now she's not interested." So now, all of sudden I'm... I'm starting to get interested.
And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door? 'Cause then it's awkward, it's like "Well, good night." Do you do like the ass-out hug? Where you like... you hug each other like this, and the ass sticks out because you're trying not to get too close. Or do you go right in and just kiss 'em on the lips or don't kiss 'em at all?
It's very difficult trying to read the situation and all the while you're just really wondering, "Are we gonna get hopped enough to make some bad decisions?" And perhaps play a little game called "Just the Tip." Just for a second, just to see how it feels, or "Ouch Ouch, You're on My Hair."
Daily Affirmations...
My previous affirmations sucked ass - they weren't written by me and I apparently didn't read them very thouroughly - I apologize to any of you that wasted your time. Here are the real things to give two craps about:
1) Be True to Yourself: Never let anyone tell you that you are wrong for being true to your nature.
2) Act it Out: Feel Empowered the moment you have an urge, take action and feel confident that you are doing what feels right
3) Have No Fear: End your day knowing that you have been true in convictions and acted when you had the opportunity. You were the master of your day.
4) Love: You are beautiful - others see it but fear the vulnerability of expressing it. You know it but fear the commitment of feeling it. You Fucking Rock - And you Know It - let Others KNOW you KNOW it by standing up and doing what is right NOW!

Recently in my world...
Went to the Coachella 2006 toward the end of April - saw Daft Punk, Tool, Matisyahu, Atmosphere, The Zutons, The Ya Ya's, Massive Attack, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Los Amigos Invisibles, Ted Leo, Digable Planets, and Gnarls Barkley was there but I missed them!!
Spent two days in LA after the event - I'm convinced now that I need to move out to Cali, it's been TOO LONG here in Atlanta. I've been spending all my time between work going to shows - saw They Might be Giants the day after I got back - DJ Micro, Atmosphere, Collective Efforts, Zoraster. The trip inspired my work and lit a fire for artistic expression - hopefully soon I'll have some music to post here.
