About me:
I've always used this section more to talk about what I do rather than who I am. So here's an incredibly abridged version of my story:
I was born and raised in Rhode Island. Save a few fun adventures, the older I got, the more I hated it. Until I was old enough to skip town, I emersed myself in art, music and television. At 17 I moved to Florida and gave up cartooning for television comedy. I went to school in Fort Lauderdale and lived with my BFF for a few years before the "Rich and famous" bug got the better of me and we took off for California. A decade later, it's been a wild ride but I got some pretty cool stories to share for it. For nearly five years, I was married. I know it's customary not to dwell on that fact, but it's an important part of my story and I don't regret it at all. I'm a better version of me for it. Plus, after some exemplary behavior during the aftermath, a few of my friends got upgraded to "family" status in my heart. In late 2006 I found myself working as a commercial artist again after a 14 year absence and it's been awesome. Other quirks of mine include (but should not be limited to): I'm too nice. I'm seriously funny. I adore my friends. I love karaoke, sushi and laughter. I hate lables, pessimistic people and beans of any kind.
I'm the series creator/Co-Executive Producer/Head Writer/Cast member of the longest-running sketch comedy television show in SoCal, THE HOUSE. 2005 and 2006 Telly Award winners. We're on every Thursday Night. 10:30pm on Cox Cable Channel 23 (18 in North County) and 11pm on Time Warner Cable. I'm also one 26th of the cast of CRAZED IMAGINATIONS. San Diego's live floorshow cast of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". I can often be found in the isles shouting at the screen, taking photos or on stage trying to perfect my Tim Curry. Come see us Every Friday Night at Midnight at San Diego's Historic and gorgeous La Paloma Theatre. You done heard, now spread da word! Dress sexy, throw stuff, shout at the world's most famously bad movie and bring yo friends!
When I have spare time, which is rare, I enjoying playing my telecaster, listening 2 my mp3 player (Creative Zen Nomad totally makes ipod it's bitch), eating the fabulous cooking of my roommate/best friend. Celine Dion waved at me. You should do the same.
Who I'd like to meet: I have no quarms about adding people I've never met in person. Mostly this is to check in with people I've lost touch with and amuse my friends while they're supposed to be working.
OMG you crack me up!!! Hurry up and build it why don't ya, I'd like to move! So how's Paul doing? You know I'm still a bit resentful of the fact that I had to share my outstanding achievement with him. J/K - ok maybe not so much, LOL.
There are worst things you could be doing against your will. I learned that the hard way on my last trip to southeast Asia. I won't get into details but... I'll never look at a pomegranate the same again...
You guys freakin' ROCK!! I totally remember the Julie Andrews bit. That's funny as hell. I'm thrilled that I was able to contribute to your show, I'm sorry I missed it. You'll have to send me the link. Love you guys!!!
