Check out an interview below from Online Fantasy Magazine:
FM:Where did the name geO come from? What is your real
name?
Geo:... Ask mah mama! (laughs) My name is geO everyone calls me geO,so yeah its just "geO"; its a name there nothing intricate behind it.(Laughs)
FM:When did you first start singing?
Geo:I was always the little kid running around the house with a tape player singing really loud and driving my parents crazy (laughs). I always sang in school shows, but it wasn't till I was about 13 that I got my self into a studio and started recording music
Fm:When did you 1st know you wanted to do music
professionally?
Geo: I was young when I started developing this idea that I would sing for a living and for some reason since that time I never felt like it was a goal that was unattainable if I worked at it. I hope to one day have a music career that at least remains consistent
FM.What is your view on the music industry today?
Geo: The industry today Is at an interesting spot. Its all about promoting through the Internet. The days of the basic demo in a folder are definitely over. Reality shows have definitely made an impact on music whether its promoting a record through one, or taking a person from one and bringing them into music. I do think however that celebrity's sometimes give away to much of their personal lives.
Fm.What can you offer music that hasn't been done
before?
Geo:New artists always have to prove themselves...I don't think I'm sitting here trying to formulate a plan of who's done what and how can I do it different or better. I've always felt like I've lived in a box, doing things I don't want to, so I could get by and pursue music. So with my first album I would finally feel like my dream is let loose, Its gonna be a feel good album touches some personal things. Not to personal, It's just the introduction of me. My main concern is to make an album of good quality that can appeal to as many as possible. Its pop music that's influenced by r&b, hip hop,Latin music, reggathon...I think the difference in sound will speak for itself.
FM: If you could choose to be on a major label, which one would it be?
Geo:There's no specific label that I prefer, I'll go with what ever label is willing to give me as much control as I can on my album and understands me, my ideas, and vision on where I wanna go.
FM.If you could work with any other artist and
producers,who would it be?
Geo:Umm, so many, Alicia keys, Christina, Marc Anthony, Kanye west, John legend. I like too work with people who could challenge me and teach me a thing or two. I wanna work with new artist's that have vocals and can teach me how to attack the music business in its current state.
FM:Do you write your own songs?
Geo: Yup, I've been writing songs for a while, and I've written all my recent recordings. I have collaborated with people in the past and I'm always up for that. its the best way to learn new tricks!
FM.Who are some of your musical inspirations?
gEO:There's so many Micheal Jackson, Stevie wonder, I like marc Anthony...I could sit here and list a bunch of people for days lol, to make it simple I'm inspired by people who have obvious talent and originality.
FM.Who do you or others compare your sound too?
Geo:I think because I'm a guy doing pop music that has a bit of a hip-hop influence, I get people like Justin or Usher. I'm not trying to take a stab at anyone's sound, just trying to get in the studio and do me.
FM.Is your family supportive of your music?
Geo:Definitely, that's part of the reason why I've been able to keep pursuing it. It was always me running out on my own trying to push my music, but since day one my parents were always rooting for me.
FM.Have you ever did any other entertainment things
like modeling,or acting?And if you did,would you
continue it?
Geo: I have, but I never gave it full time attention like I do music. If I did find success in something else in the entertainment business other then music I would be going into it hoping it can open up doors for me as a singer.
FM:How would you deal with the paparazzi, rumors, and
more?
Geo:I want to do my best to avoid being one of those artists that put their personal life in the public so much that paparazzi and rumors become out of control. I'll talk about my music and the personal situations that inspired it, but I don't want to advertise my day to day life. Once you've done that there's no turning back, it must be hard!
FM: Where are you from?
Geo: I'm Puerto Rican, I was born in Brooklyn New York, Moved to Staten Island but spend most of my days in Manhattan.
Hey Fam! Really don't mean to bother you at all. Just want to say that my new video is out and I would appreciate if you WATCH it, RATE it n left a COMMENT.

Now with a larger venue and longer opening hours we will be adding to the mix Dubstep’ Electro/Dubstep, Live Breaks acts, Full Graff art Instillations, Full Graff Art Galleries, More Giveaways, Brighter Lights, and Louder bass to create a vibe re-born; stronger and more electric than any Graffiti Breakz so far..
All 3 rooms will be in session to their full potential. As you enter the rhythm factory you‘ll be met by the artwork of some of London’s leading artists showcasing at the Graffiti Gallery.
As you pass the gallery instillation, and live 6’x4’ Artwork being created in the front bar you arrive in the main room bursting with Live Acts’ DJ Teams, visual displays and much more.
Drifting further into the East London venue, you will find dirty dubstep, kick driven breaks, and the addictive rumble of dark and dirty bass.
