folk music - renaissance - baroque - classical - and the classics of the 20th century like The Beatles and Bob Marley, naturally - and of the 20s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s
in the 80s and 90s I only remember listening to my kids sing Disney songs ad infinitum and beyond - BEST CONCERTS I've EVER listened to

"I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book."
But I do love to watch Carol Burnett, I love Lucy, and the inimitable Messrs Bean and Andre Rieu
some of the gems I treasure:
Dave Barry (Miami history writer par excellence) - "Mary Queen of Scots" by Antonia Fraser - "Galileo's Daughter" by Dava Sobel
"Götter, Gräber und Gelehrte" by C. W. Ceram - (thanks, kleines Großes) - "Jeans und große Klappe" by Evelyn Sanders (danke, Michaela) - "Die fünf Püttermänner" by Dora Maria Wille

the wonderful and amazing barefooted potter and homeschooling champion Mrs. "O"
think of her as the Energizer Bunny spreading delight and laughter and "O" so much love and encouragement to everyone she meets - don't you wish you had a friend like her?
Speaking of heroes --- young men and women everywhere - I value you and your lives - I value everyone's life - please don't miss what these young American soldiers have to say about the war in Iraq:
My new love from Australia: certified organics - no more toxic ingredients rubbed into our skin - a most attractive concept for me, the ex-chemist/biologist, and my teenage daughter who loves to use makeup daily : )

Kevin here.
If you've seen what transpired during the Summer Olympics
you witnessed Usain Bolt break some incredible records.
Michael Phelps did the same.
After each milestone, you saw Usain celebrate in a manner
some will say is "showing off".
Now is this celebration over the top?
My answer is absolutely NOT. When he accomplished what
he did he had permission to celebrate.
And that is the key here. Celebration is a physical
manifestation of the excitement dreams worked on numerous
hours while no one is looking once achieved creates.
So in your life, remember the importance of celebration...
NEVER forget to do it. Especially when you reach a
particular goal or milestone.
Win big !
Your friend,
Kevin
