About "DEATH RIDE"
If someone tells you they aren't fascinated with death, they are lying. Negative connotations be damned, "Death Ride" is an ode to life.
From the first chord, this record pops with soul, style and vision. Three
musician's working as one brain with six hands pounding out monolithic riffs, lush soundscapes, and dizzying flurries within the framework of a beautiful song.
BIOGRAPHY:
Casanatra came to be in early 2002 when Lance Reed, Jer Fink and Dennis Asher found themselves without any commitments and a desire to spend the most time possible in musical telepathy with each other. Each brought a part of their past endeavors to create a sound that was forged in rock, but injected with elements of almost every musical style. The goal was to write songs that were individually unique while owning the common thread of big guitars and monstrous drumming.
Synchronicity brought them together and the pure love of playing has cemented a musical bond that holds tight after 4 releases: Is This Tonight-BWR 0011- Wood and Glass-BWR 0016, Primo Impacto-BWR-0023 and their early 2009 release "Death Ride" which is a rebirth of sorts for the band. New producer, Jeff Halland of Houston fame. New songwriting approach, short punchy and powerful. New haircuts....and so on.
Adventurous and accessible, Casanatra has finally created a record that lives up to the sum of their parts, they've discovered the secret formula and they aren't giving it away, but they'll always invite you in for a drink and a listen.
Keep your Casanatra eyes open for spring and summer touring to be followed by a 5th release in the winter of 2009.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

Als Live Acts haben wir Alien Project, Freakulizer, Sensual Squeak und Refract für euch gebucht. Aber auch die Dj- Sets von Save the Robot (Neues Projekt von Alien Project), Pinky n Brain, D.J.O.E. , Mellycimi, Beatsurfer und Nygma werden alles geben um die Party richtig zu beschallen! Auch akustisch lässt unser Kling & Freitag System der extraklasse keine Wünsche offen.
