The Cascabel Team are a group of electronic music artists from across Europe that all have their own very individual styles but work together to showcase their music and arrange events that not only entertain but also provide the audience with a variety of different musical experiences.
-----------------
Dougie Jones is a young DJ and Producer from the UK who is becoming increasingly well known in the Nottingham and Sheffield regions and also further afield thanks to his website and YouTube videos. His style is hard to pinpoint but usually contains loads of melodic and epic synths along with big basslines. But this is just in general, another completely different side of his style can be heard with his track Served Cold that shows a much more chilled out side to his music.

Jerofou is somewhat of a local celebrity around Nantes in France thanks to his DJ sets across the city that never fail to leave the crowd wanting more at the end of the night. His style is varied in nature but his main influences are Laurent Garnier and the Border Community label. However you describe it his sets are certainly popular and today Jerofou regularly performs all over France as well as having a couple of releases out on our own imprint.

Karl Simon is another artist from Nantes who performs live using purely his own material. His sets have become well respected in the city and he is now starting to perform across a number of other places in the surrounding area as well as on the radio. As the last twelve months have seen Karl rocket from producing tracks at home to being signed to four record labels (including some releases on our own imprint) who knows where Karl will be by the end of 2009!

ShavingRonald’sCar is an enigma to say the least. I’ll leave it to his own description about himself and his music “Joachim Heise, a.k.a. Shaving Ronald's Car, was congealed March 14, 1985. He didn't pay attention during childhood, so he often has difficulty with household items such as drying machines and peanut butter. But he has persevered, and is currently living in Norway with a sweet little lady named Martine. He dreams of being a hand model, living in a redwood tree, and throwing leather couches at passers by. His masturbation habits are minimal to none, and he never consumes his own waste, believing it to be bad for your mercury/strychnine balance. He did once, however, attempt to eat himself in alphabetical order, saving ze brains and ze heart for last of course. Ze appendix made him sick though, and he had to stop.” His live set is just as random but expect to hear every type of broken beat you can possibly think of!

SugaMouth is a Leeds based DJ and Producer who first began to understand House Music after being coerced into attending clubnights like Up Yer Ronson, Back II Basics and Hard Times. Today he is an established DJ and Producer himself who is just as happy listening to Marvin Gaye as he is Derrick Carter and as a result plays and creates a very eclectic selection of music that ranges from epic distorted rock riffs right through to analog synths and big room house tracks.

Time Lapse is a DJ and Producer from Surrey who has been influenced by the trippy, bleepeyness of Acid House, the sonic space of dub and the deep subs of drum and bass / jungle. Ltj Bukem, PFM, Dillinja, Richie Hawtin and Burial are just a small number of his influences and as such you can expect to hear some of the best underground electronic music both out of his sets and his studio.

If you like what you hear please check out our events, and if you really like what you hear spend a quid and help the artist produce more in the future.
