Case Sensitive is a talented group of young musicians that provides a fun, eclectic performance of both progressive rock cover tunes and originals inspired by musicians such as Frank Zappa, YES, and King Crimson. The members of the group, which has been together for 2-1/2 years, focus on musical growth independently and as a group.
14 year old, multi-instrumentalist Lucas, is an outstanding guitarist with a keen knowledge of the fretboard that results in surprising solo and improvisational style. Lucas provides vocals for the group and plays keyboard as well. Lucas is also a percussionist in the middle school band, guitarist in the middle school jazz ensemble and has drummed and played mallet instruments in various jazz ensembles and rock groups.
Chris, a 16 year old, plays saxophone and keyboard for Case Sensitive. Chris is an accomplished saxophone player with an amazing improvisational ability that helps round out the melodies. Chris plays saxophone in the high school concert band and marching band, as well as jazz ensemble.
Rounding out Case Sensitive's rhythm section are brother and sister Anthony and Julia. Anthony, a talented 16 year old bass player, has diverse skills to match the many styles of music the band plays. Julia, the 17 year old skillful drummer, not only provides the rhythm for Case Sensitive, but she also plays tenors in the high School marching band drum line and is a percussionist in the concert band and orchestra.
Case Sensitive has appeared at The Kent Stage, The Kent Heritage Festival, A Taste of Hudson, Stow-Hudson Relay for Life, Jupiter Studios, Teens Rock Akron, The Hessler Street Festival, First Night Akron and The Barking Spider Tavern.

Hey Case Sensitive! Nice sound! I see you have played with The Numbers Band. We are doing a show with them this Saturday! Take care and good luck with your music ventures! Bill
Looking forward to hearing you on 4-24 at the Spider. If you can hang around for the late show you'd be welcome to sit in for a tune. Jon Mosey will be the guitarist with TSQ on Friday btw.
Very cool. I'll try my best to get there early and hear you guys in April. It should be a fun night. BTW, at the Spider this month with TSQ, Jon Mosey will be subbing on guitar.
