I’m a Sydney-based piano player born into a musical family. When I was 17 (2005), I won a BBM Jazz Award and had the opportunity to go to London to check out the jazz scene there. I’ve studied with a number of amazing piano players in Sydney including Alister Spence, Matt McMahon and Michael Bartolomei. I’ve also studied overseas with pianists including Aaron Goldberg, Aaron Parks, Peter Martin and Barney McAll.
I have a Bachelor of Music Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New South Wales, majoring in jazz piano
I’ve played at a number of Australian music festivals, including Thredbo Jazz Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival and the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival. I regularly play around town with my trio, the Casey Golden Trio, and we've just finished recording our debut album, 'CLARITY'.
