The band I'm playing with is called the Blue4Trio. Please visit our website www.blue4trio.com and our myspace page. You can buy our cd and download music, too.
Our band consists of Mike Daugherty, drums, vocals , and occasional ukulele,
Matt Weiner, string bass, vocals, and myself, piano, uke, cornet ,vocals, and arranging. Matt and Mike are starting to become more involved in the arranging, as we now do some of it in rehearsals.
We maintain a full schedule in Seattle, playing out of town mostly in the summer. We'll be going to France in June of 2008, and doing some performiong with the Stolen Sweets in Portland, Oregon. Also, we're planning a tour of Alaska at the end of August.
I sit in with Tom Bennet and the Rolling Blackouts at St. Clouds restaurant some Mondays, C.T.'s Suicide Jack at the Owl & Thistle Pub and Craig Flory and Del Rey at Cafe Racer in Ravenna.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
The new CD sounds fabulous! Great songs, tight harmonies, smooth playing and nicely recorded too. Really has a nice sound. Thanks for asking me to play...oj
