Sounds Like--I sound like myself, I try to be different and never try to sound like another artist.
Fans say that Casey Raines has the sultry sounds of Natalie Merchant with the country flare and powerful voice of Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland).
Born in South Florida, Casey Raines spent most of her time growing up
listening to music, singing and riding horses. Music and creativity have
always been in her blood, she was an A student in English class with her
creative stories and poems and always made the solo performances while
performing in All County Chorus and Musical Theater. Her favorite artist at
the time was Sting, his unique styles and collaborations with other artists
and sounds were what inspired her passion to write songs that could touch
souls and offer a refreshing new sound incorporating all genera’s of music.
Casey has performed at a variety of clubs, outdoor festivals including Radio Disney, “The All Veterans Reunion and Operation Stand Up” to support all of our brave soldiers and veterans. Her latest performances were opening for “Michelle Branch and The Wreckers", at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida, and Sheryl Crow, at Sunfest on the WAMU stage in Palm Beach.
Casey has written several original songs that have been received with outstanding reactions from her fans and a few have been chosen to be recorded with other major and up incoming artists over in Europe.
Casey’s band is a “mixing pot” of Blues, Rock, Country and Alternative artists that has created a refreshing unique sound somewhere between Alternative Rock and Country.
“My goal is to inspire people with my songs and show them that great music is just that, great music. It can be enjoyed by all genera’s of fans from Heavy Metal to Country.”

Vaccine Thesis Pt.1 "The White Blood Cell is also known as the polymorphonuclear lecocyte. It is my belief that this “Killer T-cell” has a purpose of eliminating bacteria and infection within the body. The red blood cell acts as a “delivery man” transporting nutrients throughout the body. The white blood cells attack infections within the bloodstream so that the red blood cells don’t clot or stop working. I believe the white blood cell’s nuclear activity sometimes destroyed more within the red blood cells than just bacteria. Possibly it could have at some point devoured the entire cell slowly. The remains of these destroyed cells may have left a dna that would allow the blood to receive destructive manuals or information left to wander in the nervous system. These may have developed into receptors for more powerful infection. The CCR5 is a receptor or a doorway for the HIV virus within the White blood cell. The HIV virus makes its way into the white blood cell either through a breach in the cell allowed by the CCR5 receptor or it somehow mutates through the outer layer of the cell. So in conclusion, it is the CCR5 that maybe susceptible to the HIV virus because it may have similar tendencies of the virus itself.....
